i hate like 95% of Aesthetic Tumblr Writing TM because ppl focus so hard on the lyricism (& i do love pretty lines but even that is not very well done most of the time) that they fall into the john green phenomena where there’s just string after string of pretty words with absolutely no substance behind it and it’s like being literarily  cockblocked like….. okay the light crashed against his sun-kissed skin and refracted like a thousand  diamond prisms falling off his eyelashes but why should i care
